I love these pencils. They write so good!I usually get Tul pencils at Office Depot where there isn’t much price difference from here, but they don’t have this particular package. Eraser refills are hard to come by. That’s not such a big deal for me—I like those erasers that look like pencils. My husband, on the other hand, probably from sheer habit uses the one on the other end of the pencil. That makes refills important. When you throw in the lead this is a no-brainer.The pencils have a better feel to them than most. Plus, I really like whatever they make the case out of, It has a nice non-slip surface without putting ridges or the other things manufacturers do to solve that problem. My husband is really, really picky about his pencils. Even more than me, and he likes these. That may not mean much to anyone else, but it really is a big endorsement. I’m an accountant, so it’s a tool of the trade for me and needs to be comfortable.I hope this is helpful to someone. If you like the Tul pencils in general, you might want to pick one of these up from time to time. Assuming they don’t raise the price.I love these pencils, smooth & easy to use.Perfect and well-balanced mechanical pen in the market. Size is perfect for my big hands as well as the rubber grip construction which is really helpful when writing for hours. The semi-automatic lead advancement feature is super helpful, just give the tip of the lead a push on your notebook and you are set to write again without hassle.Twist eraser feature is nice as well. The eraser is not as bad at erasing. But if you’re a person who erases a lot, I do recommend an eraser pen, which is cheaper than Tul eraser refill. I recommend Pentel Click Eraser Pen.This is great for students, talking notes, even for those who loves to write hours of writing.I love how this feels in my hand while writing. So comfortable. The expression that you get what you pay for couldn't be more true when it comes to these mechanical pencils. I am constantly replacing moderately priced mechanical pencils from Pentel, Bic and others, about 15 dollars each month for four students. While these pencils appear to be expensive they have yet to be replaced and are in excellent condition. The position of the lead minimizes breakage even from student use. We are beyond happy with our purchase of the TUL pencils! These pencils are amazing. They are designed exceptionally well and feel good in the hand. I really like how the eraser functions and how you can easily replace the eraser when it runs out. Best pencil I've ever owned.good product
