There is just one grade in each box of 12 pencils. Choose just the grades you need using the buttons at the top. I'm not sure which grade I need. How do I choose? B grades give darker lines, and the higher the number before B, the darker and softer the graphite. H grades give lighter lines, and the higher the number before H, the lighter and harder the graphite. A traditional #2 pencil is grade HB.
